Attention, ça va jaser dans les chaumières! Entre les jeunes “puristes” du Graffiti et qui crient au scandale dés qu’une collab entre une marque de luxe et un artiste graffiti reconnu se crée, et les “super hypeux tendances au fait de tout” (les suiveurs quoi) qui vont s’étouffer d’extase en avalant de travers le contenu un peu louche de leur dernière verrine en vogue, on n’a pas fini d’en entendre parler.
Quoi qu’il en soit, ils sont bel et bien là: les fameux carrés en soie de l’éminente griffe Hermès revisités par Kongo des MAC.
Autrement dit, deux monstres se rencontrent pour donner naissance à une collection Hiver 2011-2012 dont une part des bénéfices seront reversés a l’association de Kongo qui soutient les jeunes artistes Kosmopolis.

The Vinyl edition of Daily Bread hits stores this coming Tuesday and includes a bonus 45 that features two new remixes: one is an Oddisee remix for the song “Elephants” and the other is Apollo Brown’s Troubled Water Remix for the song “The Trenches” ft. Sean Born, which we are sharing today.
Apollo’s remix features a haunting piano line combined with minimal but gritty drum programming creating a completely different soundscape than the original Apollo Brown production. Hassaan Mackey rips the mic with urban war stories, while Sean Born delivers some of the tracks most memorable lines “Atonement for the shit I got away with / I got a way with words, I just say shit / Had my way with birds, chick-fil-a sh*t”.
