De La Soulviet is a mashup album by TenDJiz (Miami-based producer/sound-engineer). It uses acapellas of hip-hop trio De La Soul and couples it with instrumentals created from the Soviet Union soul and jazz samples.
Cymarshall Law & Mr. Joekers long awaited sequel Hip Hop in the Soul 2 dropped today Oct4th is now available for Free Download or Name Your Own Price via Bandcamp
Hip Hop in the Soul 2 represents the evolution of Cymarshall Law and Mr. Joeker over the past 3 years since part 1. It is a combination of all Cymarshall Law’s best works put into one masterful piece, it took about 2 years to make and since Hip Hop In The Soul, fans have been asking for the sequel. It is the most personal project Law has ever put out. It is raw, yet polished and most of all shows growth. The production has a much larger impact than before and the lyrical content hits right at home.
The imagination, heart and creativity shown from both the MC and Producer put them among the best lyricists and most well rounded producers. Their 1st collaborative project which featured and got KRS-One’s stamp of approval was greatly received, so Cymarshall Law and Mr. Joeker set out to make another thought-provoking, head nodder, proving that the “sophomore jinx” is only a myth.
This is Cymarshall Law’s fourth solo project, and given that he is a well seasoned emcee, you will hear nothing but quality and true life lyricism. “We wanted to make the complete hip hop package and stay true to what makes hip hop great but also bring something new and fresh to the masses.” Hip Hop In the Soul 2 will be a classic album for years to come.
