Le Circuit Emotionnel a été mis au point en 1984 par le Docteur Shibata Hakase (柴田博士), ancien collègue du Docteur MaD de l’Université de Technologie de Nagoya.
C’est un microprocesseur qu’on implante aux systèmes robotisés dans le but de leur faire retrouver, ou leur donner des émotions humaines.
Shibata est devenu l’ennemi juré du Docteur MaD depuis qu’il a tenté de lui implanter cette puce dans le but de le rabaisser à un niveau de conscience humaine normal.
Il a également toujours été jaloux des expériences qui ont permis au Docteur MaD d’atteindre le stade suprême de l’intellect humain.
Shibata a finalement implanté son Circuit Emotionnel, provoquant la mort du Docteur MaD, le 21 décembre 1990.
Cet enregistrement récolte les quelques rares et dernières expériences retrouvées dans le laboratoire du Docteur MaD avant sa mort.

The Emotional Circuit was developed in 1984 by Dr. Shibata Hakase (柴 田博士), a former colleague of Dr. MaD’s from the University of Technology in Nagoya.
It is a microprocessor implemented in robotic systems in order to retrieve or give them human emotions.
Shibata became the sworn enemy of Dr. MaD ever since he attempted to implant him the chip in order to bring him back to normal human consciousness.
He has also always been jealous of the experiments that allowed Dr. MaD to reach the highest levels of human intellect.
Shibata finally implanted his Emotional Circuit, causing the death of Dr. MaD, on December 21st, 1990.
This recording is a collection of the few and rare experiments found in Dr. MaD’s lab before his death.

Boog Brown – Growth (14KT remix)

Boog Brown has officially released her full length project “The Brown Study Remixes” everywhere! To get people listening she is offering, till new years, a free download of the 14KT produced track “Growth.”

“Growth” (formerly “Carpe Diem”) is one my favorite joints off of Boog Brown’s “Brown Study” album. It was really a special moment for me to have the honor to remix it. I thought about back in 05′ when me and Boog used to hit up this spot called “The Firefly” for a night called “Elevation”. We were always freestyling by the piano in the corner. I already knew she was a jewel with the poetry, but this was the early beginnings of me being exposed to her rhyme skills. Not too long afterwards she would come through my studio to record songs. Fast forward to now, she’s established herself as viable, beautiful, prolific, and a powerful lyricist with an ILL voice as a weapon. When I was in the lab, I just wanted to compliment her voice and create a beat that had the classic feeling that the lyrics gave me. Simple, yet optimistic type vibe, ya dig? The irony is I’m just honored because I got to see and be a part of the process of Boog’s “growth” through it all.”

The Album features all new remixes from Nick Tha 1Da, Dunc of DTMD, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Def Dee, MarvWon, 14KT, Amdex, Illastrate, Audible Doctor, and Has-Lo. New verses from MarvWon, scratches from the Left’s DJ Soko, plus an all new original song from Apollo Brown.
