Working almost entirely from vinyl and homemade field recordings, Karavelo has created a raw portrait of modern hip hop using a collage of vintage sounds. Armed with only a turntable, MPC, SP404, and a Tascam DP-008, the album serves as a testament to producers who avoid relying on computers to create their music. Koldpak.Halflyfe is an eclectic audio diary, taking you on a journey through the mind of a true sound collector, one halflyfe vision at a time
